I really appreciate it that you want to volunteer to work and learn about farming, but not getting paid to work is just unAmerican, not to mention that the Good Book says "A man is worth his hire."
Now that it's established that I won't have you work for free, I've got to tell you I don't have the money to hire you. And on top of that you don't want to do the parts of the job I would want to hire someone to do. Example: I could really use a house cleaning service and goat poo shoveler. Oh and the 2 week long, barn floor hay removal using pitch forks and wheel barrows.
