Lots of folks want to take a farm tour. I normally set them up for milking time so everyone in the group can milk a goat. It also makes the tour take more than 15 minutes! Ok ok.. So it really does take at least 30 minutes to answer all the questions people have about the goats and the soap. Some people even love to argue with me about how they know best even though they have never owned or cared for a goat, let alone a milking doe. That can push things to 3 hours!
Types of tours
The most common type of tour that we provide is the random tour. This mostly happens with new customers. In this tour, we show you the milking parlor and you can see the goats from the windows. We also try to get you to buy some soap by walking you thru the soap room before taking you into the milk parlor. Customer beware it normally works! Soap is $0.70 per bar.
Price for this tour: free.... Well unless we get you to buy something.
No waiver is required for this tour.

The 2nd most popular tour is the pet the goats tour or as I like to call it, "Can I go look at the goats a little closer?" Tour. The answer is yes, but you must sign the waiver first! Because if I don't get people to sign it first, you just know they are going to go out there, get down on all fours and start a headbutting contest with the biggest goat! Seems really unrealalistic right? Yeah that's what I said, and then some guy did it... Not joking.
Price of this tour: free but if you want to go outside you will need to sign the waiver.. It's at the top of the page if you would like to pre-read it.
The 3rd type of tour we give is when you schedule a cheese making class and when you get to the boring part you get the above 2 tours with it. That includes the waiver bit too.
Price: however much I am charging you for the cheese class.
4th tour is what I like to call "Surprise! I am here drop what you are doing, turn back in from grazing your goats a half mile away, because I need a tour of your farm NOW!" This tour is the same as the above tours.
Price:$5 -Look on person's face when charged is priceless. My response: "Don't know why your surprised, it's posted on the front door!"
