What happened in August 2023 UPDATE dairy goat Homestead goat milk soap

August went by fast with crazy weather. Normally August is super hot for most of the month, but this time it averaged in the 70's until the 22nd
then it got super hot 90 + with heat index of 120 because of the humidity. It did a lot of light rain, just enough to keep the humidity high.

A goat kidded twins that are both doing very well!

Our Billy kids are growing big and are on track to go to the sale barn in December, that is unless somebody buys them before then.

Most of the does came into heat, and the billies settled them. So we are set for a huge kidding season in January. Let me know if you would like to reserve a kid.
